Collection: 3rd (Solar plexus) Chakra

The 3rd (Solar Plexus) Chakra or Manipura is located three inches above the navel.  It is connected with the element of Fire and is associated with the color yellow.  It is the core of our personality, our identity and our ego.  The 3rd chakra is the center of your willpower, your self-esteem, self-discipline as well as warmth in your personality. This chakra is about your relationship to yourself.  The gift of this chakra is sensing your personal power, being confident, responsible and reliable.  The energy of this chakra allows you to meet challenges and move forward in your life.  The main challenge for the 3rd chakra is to use your personal power in a balanced manner.

Physical imbalances include digestive problems, liver dysfunction, chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, pancreas and gallbladder issues and colon diseases.

Emotional imbalances include issues of personal power, low self-esteem or an over-inflated ego.  We have emotional outbursts and are often stressed out.  We are passive and inactive, allowing life to pass by while they do nothing. When you judge or criticize yourself, you deplete this chakra and weaken your willpower.  Fears of rejection, criticism and physical appearances surface.

When your Solar Plexus is balanced, you have the ability to move forward in life with confidence and power.  It reflects the ability to make conscious choices to choose to act.  Self-love, self-acceptance and acknowledgement of your own worth are the building blocks of the 3rd chakra.  We feel in control, assertive and confident.
